I NEED A SPECIAL HOME!!!!!

Mindy, a 13-year old female, spayed, loving cat, has been with us many months, and is ready for a special home. Mindy was given up because of her diabetes, which is easily managed and should not be cause for not having a family. She gets an insulin injection twice daily, and a new owner would need to have Dr. Sue educate him/her about diabetes in the cat. Dr. Sue would also teach the insulin-giving skills needed to be a successful diabetic-cat owner. Mindy needs a home where she can have food down all day for snacking, and she needs to have an attentive owner that notices how much water and food she takes in daily. She is great with other cats, and her food is one that other adult cats can eat (Hill’s W/D), but all cats would have to be allowed to have the food down all day. Mindy requires bloodwork twice yearly, so costs about $200 more/year than the normal cat. She always uses her litter pan, and is a very tidy girl! Please consider giving Mindy a try in your home!
